This is the Yamaha SRV-23EX, equipped with a 115-horsepower 4-stroke outboard motor. It is the successor to the SRV20, which was marketed as an entry-level boat offering casual and versatile enjoyment. Until then, it had been common practice to bundle the boat with a 2-cycle outboard, but around this time, the shift to 4-cycle engines gained momentum, and I believe this model was marketed specifically for its 4-cycle F115 engine. 　A 23-foot boat with a relatively compact cabin paired with a 115-horsepower outboard might seem slightly overpowered, but it offers a smooth ride, excellent maneuverability, and good fuel economy. I believe this boat would be enjoyable not only for entry-level users but also for experienced boaters who love this class. [About the Boat’s Condition] It has been stored at a marine mooring. The cover for the cabin entrance is in relatively good condition, with no wear on the zippers or other parts, so it appears ready for use as is. It has been exactly two years since purchase, but the owner reports that they’ve only taken it out 4–5 times during that period, so it hasn’t been used very often.When we started the engine for this inspection—the first time in quite a while—the battery showed no signs of weakness, and the starter motor turned over powerfully to start the engine. The idle was stable as well (and quiet). We found no damage or signs of repairs. The V-berth was also clean, with no mold or dirt on the electric toilet, cushions, or ceiling, so it appears ready for use as is. The cabin interior was also relatively clean, and there were no noticeable stains on the seats. The tip of the anchor’s corner roller was bent, and the roller itself was cracked. We didn’t find any broken small parts, such as doors or hinges, but please check them yourself during your inspection just to be sure. As for maintenance, we were told that an oil change had been performed.
